The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has summoned the Turkish ambassador to Nigeria, Hakan Cakil, over the detention of some Nigerian students in Istanbul by the Turkish police. Some Nigerians studying in Universities in Turkey were over the weekend arrested in Istanbul and detained for 11 hours on alleged order of the Turkish government following the July 15th failed military coup in the country
